Brett Trevillian

Brett has over 16 years of international trading experience. From 1993 to 1996 Brett worked his way from the derivatives back office of Citibank to eventually co-running the risk on the highly profitable precious metals derivatives desk. In 1996 he moved to Hong Kong to run the precious metals derivatives book for UBS in Asia. In 1997, at the age of 23, UBS promoted him to Director, Global precious metals derivatives book out of Zurich and New York. This operation was later relocated to London in 1998 when UBS merged with SBC. 

Brett then went on to work at various international banks such as Gulf International Bank (London) and in the role of head of global precious metals derivatives at Societe Generale (Paris) and National Australia Bank (Sydney). From 2006 to 2008 he was Director, Global Precious Metal Derivatives at Credit Suisse (Zurich). Since 2008 Brett has managed private accounts, trading precious metal and FX derivatives for high net-worth individuals.

Brendan McCarthy

Brendan has been involved with trading (in Sydney, London, New York, Geneva and Singapore) since graduating from the University of Sydney in 1989 with a Bachelor of Economics. He also completed the Investment Management Programme at London Business School in 1992. 

From 1990 to 1994 Brendan was an inter bank money market broker at Tradition (UK) Ltd and Babcock Fulton Prebon Ltd. From 1993 to 2002 Brendan proprietary traded and managed MKS Capital (Australian subsidiary of a Swiss based commodity trading company) with a focus 70% on commodities and 30% on FX . From 2002 to 2006 Brendan established a software business. 

From 2006 to 2010 Brendan was VP, Global Macro Sales at Citi in the Fixed Income, Currencies and Commodities Division.
